Details: About the ArtistVann « Piano Man » Walls played and wrote many of Atlantic Records’ biggest hits of the early 50’s including Joe Turner’s « Chains of Love » and « Shake, Rattle and Roll », Ruth Brown’s « Mama He Treats Your Daughter Mean », The Clover’s « One Mint Julep », and the Drifters’ « Such A Night ». Vann Walls was honored in February 97 when the U.S. Rhythm and Blues Foundation handed him a Pioneer Award for his lasting contribution to American music.
