Now and Again has an organic feel best expressed in the achingly mournful « All the Things I Wasn’t » and the quiet melancholy of « …But I Guess We’ll Never Know. » In fact, acoustic guitars are favoured throughout the 12 tracks, complemented by tasteful piano, cello, pedal steel, and strings.
